Position Description

Job Title: RN - Home Health
Location: Albemarle, NC 28001
Contract: 13 weeks (high possibility of extension)
Shift: 8hr Day Shift – 40

Job Description:
About Facility:

  • Home Health
  • Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Department Information:
  • 6 visits a day
  • Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year Home Health experience
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, if seasoned to home health
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
  • Chronic diseases, wound care, IV, pleurx, wound vac
  • Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
  • Driver's License and proof of Insurance
  • BLS
Skills required:
  • IV, pleurx, wound vac, wound care, assessment, disease teaching, OASIS
Support within the Department:
  • Departmental leadership
Technology/Equipment:
  • Samsung note 9 phones
  • HCHB
Orientation (facility and unit):
  • NEO
  • 5 days orientation
Scheduling:
  • Weekend rotation: none, unless willing and interested in working weekends
  • Call is not required, but may be available if interested
  • Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
  • RTO: Manager approval
  • Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
